The electrification of the powertrain is a key lever for ZF to contribute to reducing CO2 emissions in road traffic and protecting the climate. ZF offers hybrid modules, plug-in hybrid transmissions, and electric drives for electric vehicles, including power electronics and system integration.

Schweinfurt plays an important role in the field of electromobility within the ZF Group. As early as 2008, the first series production of e-motors for hybrid vehicles in Europe began here. In 2019, Schweinfurt finally launched the first series application of a fully integrated electric axle drive for a German premium manufacturer.

Our goal is to advance ‘Peak Performance in Plastics’ (including in the construction, automotive, and electrical industries) and to network experts worldwide. We are looking for engineers, physicists, chemists, technicians, and physics laboratory technicians with plastics expertise. Particularly university or technical college graduates in plastics engineering can develop here into trainers, seminar presenters, testers, certifiers, or researchers and work on projects.
