Powered by the force of a steam engine back then, it heralded the age of media and sparked countless inventions. An impressive achievement that not only laid the foundation for our company but established an entire industry. At the same time, it shapes who we are today: One of the largest printing press manufacturers in the world, driven by the same spirit of innovation.

Products that are manufactured on and with machines from Koenig Bauer accompany people throughout the entire day: The newspaper at the breakfast table, the food packaging, the chip bag, the perfume bottle, the banknotes in the wallet – all these items are printed. The printing industry has long since left the boundaries of paper behind. The future belongs to print, especially in the growing packaging market. People demand smaller packaging sizes. Online commerce is booming. Individualized designs make unpacking an experience. Our Future Begins Today
Training our next generation has always played a special role for us: They are the future of our company! As one of the first back then – and now one of the few – we have maintained a state-recognized company vocational school with our own teachers and trainers for over 150 years. This allows us to closely interlink theory and practice, thus providing perfect preparation for professional futures. It’s no wonder that our apprentices traditionally rank at the top in their final exams. The past, for us, endures in the present and future.

Innovation ist eine wichtige Triebfeder für den Erfolg unseres Unternehmens und fest in unserer DNA verankert. So setzen wir uns schon seit längerem mit den Themen Industrie 4.0 und Digitalisierung auseinander. Mithilfe von Augmented Reality können unsere Techniker schon jetzt die Maschinen unserer Kunden in kürzester Zeit aus der Ferne prüfen und warten.
Jubilarfeier
Die lange Betriebszugehörigkeit unserer Mitarbeiter macht uns sehr stolz. Sie zeigt, dass sich unsere Mitarbeiter wohl bei uns fühlen. Jedes Jahr wird deshalb zu Ehren aller Jubilare eine große Feier veranstaltet. Und weil wir uns als große Koenig & Bauer-Familie verstehen, sind nach dem offiziellen Teil auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter herzlich dazu eingeladen.
Werkberufsschule
Eine absolute Seltenheit – früher wie heute – ist unsere staatlich anerkannte Werkberufsschule mit eigenen Lehrern und erfahrenen Ausbildern. Seit über 150 Jahren werden hier rund 120 gewerblich-technische Auszubildende durch die enge Verzahnung von Theorie und Praxis sowie modernster Technologie bestens auf die berufliche Zukunft vorbereitet.
