Kneipp – For More Than 130 Years at the Pulse of Time
Never before have topics such as mindfulness, sustainability, or “living in harmony with nature” been in focus as they are currently. But did you know that at Kneipp, we have been intensively engaged with these topics for over 130 years?
Admittedly: Had it not been for a personal stroke of fate, our founder and namesake Sebastian Kneipp might not have become known worldwide as the “herb priest” and “water doctor”. In the mid-19th century, he fell seriously ill with tuberculosis. To regain his health, he experimented with various healing methods – with success! Short baths in the ice-cold Danube not only noticeably improved his health condition but also intensified his exploratory spirit.
Nature and Science in Harmony
Over the years, Kneipp continuously expanded his knowledge about the healing powers of nature and developed a holistic health concept for body and mind – the so-called “5-pillar philosophy”, on which our work is still based today. Together with our approximately 700 employees, we create “moments of happiness” that have a positive effect on our customers’ well-being: from invigorating aroma showers to nourishing lotions to nutrient-rich supplements. We now distribute our products in 18 countries.

Growing with Joy
Our aspiration is to carry Kneipp’s valuable heritage into the future. Therefore, we continuously develop our products, make them (even) better, more innovative, and also more sustainable. In short: We are constantly growing – as a company and as individuals. The personal growth of our employees is particularly important to us. We support them through a wide range of training opportunities and our leadership program. Above all, we give them the necessary freedom of action from the start to develop their potential freely and independently. If you are ready to take responsibility and like to take initiative, you are in the right place at Kneipp.
Work, Life Balance
According to the “5-pillar philosophy”, balance is one of the keys to a fulfilled and healthy life. It’s hardly surprising that at Kneipp, we pay particular attention to the work-life balance of our employees. Through flexible working hours from 6 am to 9 pm without core working hours and the possibility of mobile working, we ensure maximum flexibility, for example, to best reconcile family and career. There is almost no working time model that we do not offer. Thus, even leadership positions in part-time are possible with us.

Small and Big Moments of Happiness
Of course, our corporate health management is also based on the teachings of our founder and is correspondingly comprehensive – from in-house sports groups to nutrition and health days to mobile massages. A special feature that you will truly find only with us is the direct access to our Kneipp garden at our headquarters in Ochsenfurt-Hohestadt. Whether you prefer to leisurely enjoy the sun in our herb garden during your lunch break, get a free vitamin boost on a walk through our beautiful meadow orchard, or prefer a quick dip in the cool water of our Kneipp pools – at Kneipp, you’ll find the ideal conditions to experience small and big moments of happiness at work.
