As a high-performance acute, basic, and standard care hospital with a central emergency room in Lohr a. Main, it offers a broad spectrum of modern, high-performance medicine – always at the cutting edge of science. In addition, the hospital is an academic teaching hospital of the University of Würzburg and is therefore actively involved in the training of young medical professionals.
The hospital also includes the Education Center for Nursing Professions in Marktheidenfeld, which offers training as a nursing professional and as a nursing assistant. Classes are small, the school climate is conducive to learning, and modern multimedia teaching methods are used.
To ensure the best possible care and an attractive working environment in the future, a highly modern, innovative new hospital building is being constructed by 2027, which will set new standards in medicine, nursing, and quality of work.
