FRÄNKISCHE is Yellow. The ubiquitous, bright company color was not simply chosen many years ago – quite the contrary: Like all strategic decisions at FRÄNKISCHE, we made this one with foresight. For us, yellow combines tradition and innovation. It is the color of the first corrugated, endlessly produced drainage pipe made of plastic – the pipe that revolutionized drainage technology in the early 1960s and ensured the company’s growth.
Innovation Born from Motivation
The satisfaction of our customers and the associated high quality of our products have been firmly anchored in our company philosophy for more than 100 years. That’s why we continuously develop proven products and systems and tap into additional future fields and markets. Today, our pipes are no longer just found on German construction sites and fields, but also in industry and in almost every car – worldwide. As a family business, the sustainability of our growth is our highest priority.

International Family Business
Although we at FRÄNKISCHE now employ more than 4,500 employees at 22 production and sales locations worldwide, we are and remain firmly rooted at our headquarters in Königsberg in Bavaria. This is where we grew up – also because the people here made us big. Many of them have been working with us for decades, and even entire families have been loyal to us for generations. This has created a loyalty that is priceless to us. For this reason, it is extremely important to the company owners and managing partners Otto and Julius Kirchner to maintain the family atmosphere despite the growth. They lead by example by fostering respectful interactions and an open communication culture. They also value the contribution of each individual.

Work-Life Balance
Especially when it comes to relaxation, the beautiful location of the headquarters on the edge of the Haßberge region is a plus. The area offers numerous leisure activities in nature, without long travel times – an aspect that companies in metropolitan areas usually lack. And in other respects, we are in no way inferior to large companies. Flexible working time models, for example, have long been standard for us.
To better reconcile family and work during the holidays, FRÄNKISCHE organizes the two-week holiday care “FRÄNKISCHE Holiday Kids” at the Königsberg site in the summer – in cooperation with the multi-generation house of the BRK district association Haßberge and as part of the “Care Network for All Generations”. Due to our international presence, we can also offer many development perspectives. Therefore, in addition to professional training opportunities, language courses are also a fixed part of our program.
