Although the internet could be a true blessing for people with visual impairments, the reality is unfortunately different, as many websites and online shops are still not accessible. This is exactly where we at Eye-Able® come in: With our (software) solutions, we remove barriers in the digital space, thus enabling people with various limitations and disabilities to participate digitally. As a comprehensive provider of digital accessibility, we support our clients in creating accessible websites. Currently, over 2,000 partners and thus around 15 million people monthly use the software solutions we have developed. However, there is still much to be done to truly enable all people with physical or cognitive impairments to have unrestricted access to the internet. Therefore, we work closely with affected individuals and institutions such as the German Institute for the Blind or the Würzburg Vocational Training Center.

In addition to our software services, we offer workshops tests according to BITV/WCAG to create more awareness for the topic of digital inclusion. Even though we are not directly active in the social sector, the main intention of Eye-Able® has always been to help people with impairments. This is mainly due to the personal experiences of our managing director, who witnessed firsthand how much his best friend suffered from a genetic visual impairment and the associated problems when using websites. Many of our employees also have a personal connection to the topic of accessibility or are even affected by a (visual) impairment themselves. We all share the vision of a diverse and inclusive society, where the internet will hopefully soon be barrier-free and accessible to everyone – and we are quite proud to contribute to this with our work!

To further expand our offerings, we are looking forward to active support in the areas of sales, acquisition, marketing, and development.
