Course offerings for children and teenagers during holidays. The Knowledge Workshop Schweinfurt offers technology courses for children and teenagers. Here, participants aged 8 – 18 can try things out and discover how much fun technology can be. From simple string tops to bicycle courses, MAG welding, programming, etc. All under expert guidance. All our workshops are free – even the materials. To cater specifically to the interests and abilities of young tinkerers, the courses are tiered by age.

Registration is urgently required and only through the Knowledge Workshop’s homepage! Places are limited. The workshops take place in the afternoons during school time and all day during all holidays. 10 places are available per course.

Touch Science – Hands-on Science at the M!ND-Center in Würzburg

Dates: Sat/Sun 2-6 PM, Group appointments (school classes and other groups of 10 or more) also outside opening hours upon request

The interactive science exhibition Touch Science makes science tangible: See yourself through different eyes, penetrate deep into the interior of various objects with computer tomography, manage the energy supply of a small town, or cycle at (almost) the speed of light on the “Einstein Bike”. On an area of 350 sqm, the interactive exhibits of Touch Science create many opportunities to grasp scientific connections and be touched by them.

The Girls for Technology Camp is aimed at female students aged 12 to 14 who want to gain initial insights into technical training professions during the summer holidays. In cooperation with regional companies, participants experience an exciting week with practical projects, company tours, and getting to know technical job profiles. The camps promote interest in STEM topics and strengthen girls’ confidence in dealing with technology. Participation is free of charge – including meals and supervision. Code Week Bavaria

During Code Week Bavaria, everything revolves around tinkering, coding, and being creative with technology! Children and teenagers can write their first lines of code, build robots, develop apps, or dive into digital future topics in exciting workshops – free of charge and age-appropriate. The events are organized by schools, universities, libraries, companies, and initiatives and take place on-site or online. The goal is to playfully introduce young people to the world of technology and digitalization.
