In the heart of the southern Main triangle, in the district of Würzburg, lies the city of Ochsenfurt – also known as the City of Towers. The current Main Clinic Ochsenfurt was established on the Greinberg in 1958.
The hospital has always ensured the basic inpatient and medical care for the population in Ochsenfurt and the surrounding area. The Main Clinic is also the base for the rescue helicopter Christoph18 and serves as an emergency clinic.
The Main Clinic is operated by the municipal enterprise of the Würzburg district, a public law institution.
