The Haßberg Clinics are a network of two general hospitals in Haßfurt and Ebern. As clinics providing basic and standard care, they ensure medical care for the population in the Haßberge district.
The highly qualified medical and nursing teams treat more than 27,000 patients annually in both facilities, with over 10,000 of them as inpatients.
Medically, both locations offer a high and broad spectrum of medical services. The hospitals work closely together – also with the medical centers on the clinic grounds and with outpatient partners from the region.
Patients benefit not only from the highest medical quality standards, rapid diagnostics, and comprehensive therapy options, but also from short waiting times.
Service Spectrum of the Clinics

Geriatric Medicine – Focus for the Future

Working at the Haßberg Clinics
The Haßberg Clinics offer doctors, medical professionals, and specialists from nursing and healthcare professions numerous attractive career and development opportunities. Particularly, the intensive collaboration with (specialized) clinics in the area, such as the University Hospital Würzburg or the Leopoldina Hospital in Schweinfurt, allows for deep insights and plenty of practical experience in all medical and therapeutic treatment areas.
Medical students can complete their nursing internship or clinical elective at the Haßberg Clinics. Working as a clinical student is also possible.
Graduates, doctors in training, and those returning to the profession have the opportunity to pursue specialist training in general medicine. The specialist training is conducted in collaboration with established general practitioners and specialists from the district.
Vocational School for Nursing
“Preserve the proven – dare the new” – this is the motto of the Vocational School for Nursing. It was established more than 15 years ago. Its mission? The academic training of young nursing staff (nursing assistants, registered nurses) at the Haßberg Clinics and at the Leopoldina Hospital in Schweinfurt.
The doors of the Haßberg Clinics are also open to entry-level professionals who need an internship as part of their training or further education. For example, for paramedics, nursing staff, students of nursing pedagogy, or graduates of a voluntary social year.
