More InformationFor a Livable District
The Kitzingen District Office is the central administrative authority of the Kitzingen district in the administrative region of Lower Franconia. With its 31 municipalities and approximately 91,000 inhabitants, the district represents a strong community in the heart of Franconia. As a modern service provider, we place great importance on service, friendliness, and a citizen-centric, unbureaucratic approach. Openness, transparency, and digital solutions, such as our online citizen service portal, characterize our administrative culture. Under the long-standing leadership of District Administrator Tamara Bischof (Freie Wähler), the District Office is actively committed to the further development of the region. As an employer, we offer a collegial environment, diverse tasks, and the opportunity to actively shape the future of our region. If you value commitment, team spirit, and responsibility, you’ve come to the right place.
From A for Waste Management to Z for Vehicle Registration
The Kitzingen District Office brings together a multitude of specialized departments under one roof, covering a broad spectrum of tasks. From vehicle registration to building and environmental affairs, youth and social work – each department contributes to the district’s smooth operation. Health and veterinary services ensure public health and food safety, while the Office for Public Safety and Order guarantees the protection of citizens. Topics such as economic development, climate protection, education, and integration also hold a firm place with us. An important area is also waste management, which ensures sustainable disposal and recycling in the district. In addition to our main office in Kitzingen, we are also accessible to citizens through several branch offices, such as the recycling center or the Klosterforst composting plant. This diversity makes the District Office not only a central point of contact but also an exciting and varied workplace.
